This client brought in a WWI pilot's helmet that belonged to his Grandfather. He asked if we could find a way to protect and display it.
This shadow box was our solution. The small portrait was framed and included inside the larger frame. The helmet was archivally sewn to the linen-covered backing.
A beloved family pet had recently passed away, and our client asked us to create a tribute to him with the photos and memoribilia they brought in.
The photos were mounted to black ragboard, and the edges were beveled. These were raised to various heights within the frame to create a 3-dimensional effect. The collar was sewn to the silk backing.
